The problem

Learning to tell teeth apart is mostly memorization from flat textbook photos, and a tooth looks different from every angle. Numbering systems differ by country, too, so notes from one course don’t match another.

What I built

Tooth ID puts a 3D tooth on screen that you can spin with a finger. In Study mode you explore each tooth and read what gives it away. Practice asks you to name the tooth, with hints and explanations. Find it asks you to tap the right tooth in a full arch, and Exam is timed with no hints and a review at the end.

You choose Universal, FDI or Palmer numbering, adult or baby teeth, and which jaws and groups to drill. Progress is saved on your device, so there is nothing to sign up for. It installs to the home screen like an app.
